Day 8

And once again...I did not get on here to put what I'm thankful for on the 8th day!  So, I'm going to do 2 today... I am thankful for Brad's ability to help Tanner with his homework so well!  Tanner sometimes doesn't understand what I am saying & Brad has a way of explaining it so he does.  Also, it's just helpful to have him here & to work with Tanner on his homework when I'm cooking dinner some nights!  So, not only do I have a boyfriend that loves ME...he's helping my son and that means a lot!  They have fun together and I love to listen to their conversations too!  FUNNY STUFF!

Day 7

I am thankful for my Mom!  Even when we're not on the same page, she's always there for me. I'm so thankful for my sweet Mom and all that she's taught me & all that she's done and still does for me!!

Our Thanksgiving Tree

I saw this on Pinterest, I'm sorry I can't find the post to give credit back where I originally found it!  My friend Susan had made one & posted a picture on Facebook two days ago & I was back in!  I had totally forgotten about it and am so glad she shared their tree to give me the reminder and that motivated me to make one for our house!  So, Monday night I ran by Target & grabbed a roll of brown packing paper and yesterday I got it cut out and hung it up last night!  I've been doing my 30 days of Thanksgiving & now I get to get my son involved too!  I love this time of the year as it really helps us to remember what we are thankful for and now, I just need to keep incorporating that into the rest of the year!

Day 6

I am thankful that I have Jesus on my side!  He is where I've been looking to a lot lately for strength and guidance!  He's helping to soften my heart and I'm so thankful for His love!  I have been filled by his love in the past couple of days and have a very full heart!  I've let go of a lot of the negative feelings I've been harboring for months and it feels good! 

 

Day 5

I am thankful for computers.  They get us connecte to the internet all so much information that is out there! Also, the way it can keep us connected with others or helping us reconnect.

The internet is a tool and full of fun crafts and activities, recipes, and allows us to keep up on current events.  Facebook has allowed us to reconnect with old friends, family from far away and those in our neighborhood!  Fun to share information, recipes & all kinds of good finds!

From Pinterest, Facebook, blogs, school websites...there is a lot of good & positive stuff out there!

Too bad we didn't have these when we were in school & doing our book reports! 

Day 4

Yep...thought about it yesterday morning as a matter of fact & never made it to getting it blogged!  Yesterday's thankful for...

I am thankful for my son!  Because of Tanner I continue to learn each day, I have learned what it feels like to have more love in your heart than you can possibly imagine, and I blessed beyond belief to have that God chose me to be his Mama!  Everyday he makes me smile...

Day 3

I am thankful today for our pets.  I love animals, always have since I was little & only had very short periods when we/I didn't have a pet. 
Duke, Hinnie Mo, Bambi, Burt, Koda, Sugar, Tina, Peace, Fruity, Ladybug, Roxy & Coco.  So many memories of all these pets!  Except Duke...I was too little and don't remember anything about Duke.  I'm told I used to pull his tail and he didn't really care for me.  Ha...anyways, here is a picture of our sweet girl Coco!  We got Coco at the beginning of Sept and she's such a sweet little girl!  Made me wonder why (and how) I've gone so many years without having a dog!

Day 2

Seriously...I can't even keep it going two days in a row?!  I had even thought of exactly what I was going to put that I was thankful for yesterday!  The day just got away & I didn't get it done!

Day 2 - I am thankful for medications and the people that have come up with them!  Yep, I'm not kidding, that is what I am thankful for today!  (or yesterday I should say).  They help with the muscle pain, headaches, itchy/runny nose, help keep ya sane...

30 days of Thanksgiving - day 1

So it's November 1st & I'm totally on this this year!  30 days of Thanksgiving...I'm going to list one thing each day that I'm thankful for! 

Day one - I am thankful that I decided to take on Den Leader for our Tiger Cubs! 

I get to have so much fun with Tanner and his little friends!  Today we went on the police station tour that I set up for the boys!  SO MUCH FUN!!  I'm thankful for the time that I am getting in making these special memories with my son!  From the meetings, to the camp out, to the hike & fishing to our go see it today...one very blessed Mama here!
